Parole Division
"The Mission of the Parole Division is to promote public safety and positive changes in releasees. This is ensured through effective supervision, rehabilitation programs, and services."
The Parole Division does not make parole decisions, revocations, if applicable, or what special conditions may be placed on those released on parole. The authority for such decisions rests with Parole Board. The Parole Division merely serves an administrative role by providing members of the Parole Board the required documentation needed to make an informed decision.

Additionally, the Parole Board makes recommendations on clemency matters, including pardons, to the Governor of American Samoa.
